New forum for Pictures2Rate
I’m currently looking to upgrade the forum on Pictures2Rate, at the mo its just a PHP custom job with some TInyMCE thrown in for good measure !
I want all the usual bells and whistles but cant decide weather to pay for a licence or get a free script job !
Anyone got any advice ?
I need the member database from Pictures2Rate to apply to the forum, so members who are signed up don’t need to sign up again to the forum ! - As off yet I’m not sure how to do this !
I think scorpiono.com did this on his old website Mylol. May drop him a PM.

Contact importer !
Today I released the contact importer for Pictures2Rate.com, this basicly allows people to access their hotmail, gmail or yahoo conacts and send them and invite to join Pictures2Rate.com.
Long term this will be great for the site, as more people will be able to network or compete with their friends for top ratings.

This is just a quick post and im sure that some people already do this, but just because your AdSense ads are doing well, this does not mean you should leave them like that for months and months.
Keep trying different placements/styles and colours ect, this is the only way to get the most out of your AdSense units ! - Experiment and keep testing !

Using wordpress as a website rather then blogs
Its seems as if a lot of people these days are using wordpress to power their website, rather then the traditional method of just usin it for blogging.
I guess its an easy platform to quickly customize, and makes sense with al the plugins available for it.

Server upgrade for Pictures2Rate.com
God ! Pictures2Rate is starting to get a bit crazy right now.
Every day I have a ton of photo’s to moderate and approve before they can appear on the site, not to mention comments and PM’s flying here there and everywhere ! - but im not complaining !
And now for the second time this year its time for a server upgrade ! Pictures2Rate has simply out grown its current hosting plan, it terms of bandwidth. So I am now upgrading to a rather larger hosting package !
Basicly by doing this I am securing and supporting the growth of the site, which is on a steady climb month by month.
Traffic is the highest its ever been as are new member sign ups ! Which is cool !

Pictures2Rate.com has now got 1000+ verified and approved picture uploads, Its a small figure in the grand scheme of things, but hey its a milestone !
Next target 10,000 ? I think so!
